Roof Penetrations should be sealed as effectively as possible, both to prevent heat loss and to protect the roof structure from incoming moisture. There are various options available for this. The choice of the appropriate sealant depends on the exhaust system being used and must be decided on a case-by-case basis.
 

For double-walled stainless steel chimneys, sealing sleeves with a Tyvek adhesive flange are suitable. For concentric exhaust systems or plastic systems, a recommendable sealing solution is a coverable adhesive flange made of fleece-butyl. A flexible nozzle with a long sealing collar ensures a secure seal and optimal humidity control.

DW Sealing Sleeve

The Jeremias sealing sleeve is suitable for use with double-walled stainless steel chimneys in negative pressure operation. A flexible nozzle with a long sealing collar provides a secure seal and a large contact surface with the pipe. The requirements for "Blower-Door" tests on buildings are met when using the DW sealing sleeves.

Suitable and tested for: T400 - N1 - G

DW Ceiling Cover

The finished component seals the penetration openings airtight and vapor-tight, and, like the sealing sleeve, meets all the requirements for the "Blower-Door Test." Additionally, our ceiling covers comply with the normative requirements for soot fire-resistant, double-walled Jeremias flue systems.

PP / TWIN Sealing Sleeve

For the LAS chimney (TWIN and PP systems), we offer sealing sleeves for the quick sealing of penetrations through vapor barriers or underlay membranes. The tear-resistant, plasterable material has an extremely strong adhesive power, thanks to the fleece-butyl or Tyvek adhesive edge.

 

Shaft Sealing

Thanks to the easy-to-install shaft sealing sleeves, lightweight shafts and chimneys can be permanently and flexibly sealed air-tight, both under and above the roof, connecting them to the air barrier layer.
