Unlike fossil energy sources, the combustion of which releases carbon that has been stored over millions of years.

Biomass is a renewable fuel. Its greenhouse gas balance depends on origin, processing and transport. It is available as a renewable natural resource in sufficient quantities. Biomass can be used for energy generation in the form of heat, cooling, or electricity, as well as for fuel production (biodiesel, vegetable oils).

Our Jeremias stainless steel exhaust systems are suitable for connecting to biomass heating appliances, depending on the operating conditions, as they are soot fire-resistant and corrosion-tested. Additionally, we offer EW- and DW-SILVER exhaust systems that allow condensing wet operation even after a soot fire (W2G with additional application for solid fuels – see respective DIBt approval).
