Heat recovery in winter
The warm exhaust air preheats the cold fresh air - this keeps the heat in the house and saves energy
Summer bypass function:
In cool summer nights, in addition to normal ventilation (e.g. through window ventilation), the device's bypass function can be used
Mechanical bypass
A mechanical flap prevents heat exchange between incoming cool fresh air and the warm, stale air from the interior by directing the exhaust air around the heat exchanger
Electronic bypass
Cool night air flows into the house, the exhaust fan is deactivated - this saves energy when cooling
