More than hot air

Chimney Systems Specifically for Combined Heat and Power Units (CHP)

Jeremias GmbH has developed customized flue gas system solutions specifically for Combined Heat and Power units (CHPs). The portfolio offers application-specific advantages in terms of installation and durability for all performance ranges, from nano to large-scale CHP systems. These systems provide significant benefits for industries generating their own electricity and heat.

A total of four flue gas systems form the foundation for individually designed plants. Supported by the planning expertise of Jeremias specialists, a correctly sized solution can be found for each CHP unit, ranging from under 2.5 kW to over 50 kW.

For smaller power plants up to 20 kW, the EW-PPS, a particularly cost-effective polypropylene flue gas system, is available. Applications in the temperature range up to 120°C can be efficiently implemented with this system. The single-walled stainless steel system EW-KL with metallic conical surface sealing is designed for flue gas temperatures up to 600°C. More demanding applications in the same temperature range can be implemented with the double-walled, mineral-insulated stainless steel chimney DW-KL. The DWKH variant ensures a force- and form-fitting connection, making pressure-tight piping possible even in unfavorable installation situations.

High Temperature and Pressure Resistance

All four Jeremias CHP flue gas systems are designed for overpressure up to 5,000 Pa. They meet the highest temperature and pressure resistance requirements. As modular systems, they are also significantly easier and faster to install compared to welded alternatives on site. Additional components such as flue gas silencers, explosion and flue gas dampers complement the product range.

An extensive service package completes Jeremias' industry-wide offering of system solutions specifically for CHPs. This includes not only advice and support in planning, installation, and commissioning but also technical support, customer service, country-specific approvals and documentation, custom development and manufacturing of special solutions, on-site sound measurements, and free software solutions for the design and planning of flue gas systems.
